United Technologies (UTC) Aerospace, Expansion
Just before the merger between UTC Aerospace and Rockwell-Collins Avionics, Jones Civil Design provided Site/Civil Engineering design, permit assistance, and construction administration for the expansion of the Monroe facility. As part of this expansion, Jones Civil Design navigated a complex array of overlapping issues, including: Seasonal High Water Table interaction with the stormwater pond, Fire/EMS access, and water fowl prevention due to the proximity of a local, executive airport. Only a few photos are provided since this facility manufacturers and/or repairs confidential components.
